If in the past, the plastic was much appreciated and considered a discovery of the most valid, economic, and available alternative to various poor quality and expensive materials, today its indiscriminate use has become the main cause of pollution.

Our ethics has remained the same but we want to pay ever greater attention to the issue, so that the use of this material can still be appreciable for its qualities but have the least possible impact on our planet.

Our purpose is raising awareness of disposal cycles and improving the reuse of scraps and waste.

We believe that distance ourselves from a linear economy system to join a circular economy system is no longer just a political issue or a business opportunity, but is essential for combining economic development and environmental sustainability.

Today, as never before, we embrace the renowned maxim of the ” 3Rs”: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – simple letters that summarize the concept of circular economy.

We are committed to extending the lifecycle of our products, helping to minimize waste internally, and giving the opportunity to our customers to do the same.

Once production has finished, the waste material is re-introduced with the same functionality and efficiency into the same production cycle, guaranteeing high-performance products and environmental protection at the same time.

Thus, they can be reused indefinitely, generating further value.

If this won’t be enough, the trend is to convert production to the exclusive use of recycled material from pre- or post-consumer sources.

Our resources are sustainable:

We use renewable energy sources and recyclable and/or biodegradable materials.

Some of our materials are certified and come from waste collection and recycled packaging.

Attention to energy waste is also at maximum: part of the energy we use comes from renewable sources; already in 2010, we installed a photovoltaic system that allows us to cover at least 30% of our energy needs.

New solutions every day: BIOPLASTICS.

We approach the use not only of recycled plastics but also of BIOPLASTICS.

These are polymers with the characteristic of being biodegradable and/or compostable and in most cases – where it’s the customers to choose this solution, our products are made with biodegradable bioplastics.

However, in order to classify the finished product with this category (otherwise it remains a characteristic of the material used), certain parameters both of the composition of the raw material and of the technical design of the piece, must be respected (defined by standards such as UNI EN 13432).

Of course, this is a valid solution, already developed with those customers having clearly in mind the perception they want the final consumer has of the brand. However, sometimes this solution is not the preferred one, as it generates doubts for the final consumer, who, not being adequately informed, does not know how to proceed with disposal.
