The birth of Plasti-Max dates back to the late ’50s when Mr. Mazzucchelli designed the first plastic hanger for lingerie. Yes, plastic. For many years and for many reasons, it has been the most appreciated solution, but even as plastic producers, the environment and recycling issues have always been our cornerstones.
What has changed compared to the past? Nothing, we have always based our work on the values of the 3 Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, but today we communicate it even louder.
Over the years, many items have been developed for display in order to meet customer expectations.
Our (recycled) products are the result of an internal “circular economy” that involves the entire production process: direct reuse of internal waste, use of certified recycled materials from “waste collection,” and recycled packaging. Everything is produced with at least 30% renewable energy.
Today, more than ever, we embrace the “3R motto”: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
Always mindful of environmental issues, Plasti-Max, in addition to the continuous search for eco-friendly materials, adopts a series of internal procedures to reduce the waste of plastic material with projects for “zero-impact products” such as recycling of sold products and the regeneration of raw materials.
In 2010, we also decided to invest in a photovoltaic plant with a power of 380 MhW.
The plant reduces CO2 emissions by 20%, and this is just the first step towards achieving the goal of a zero-emission factory that we aim to reach gradually in the coming years.
